Overview
Sound Tree Care LLC is actively seeking a highly skilled Tree Climber to support our production crews on technical removals, pruning, and rigging operations.
You will work within a structured 4-person crew (Driver, Ground Crew, Climber, Crew Lead) focused on safe, efficient, and professional tree care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing technical tree climbing using DdRT and/or SRT
- Executing removals, rigging, and precision pruning
- Assisting with hazard tree removals and complex jobs
- Working closely with Crew Lead to maintain safe workflow
- Inspecting trees for structural defects and hazards
- Maintaining climbing gear and safety equipment
- Supporting high-production jobs while prioritizing safety
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years professional tree climbing experience
- Strong rigging and removal experience
- Comfortable with large removals and technical work
- Valid driver’s license (REQUIRED)
- Ability to work year-round in Pacific Northwest weather
- Strong safety mindset and professional attitude
Highly Preferred
- ISA Certified Arborist (or pursuing)
- Experience with large hazard trees
- Advanced rigging systems knowledge
- Experience working with production crews

Sound Tree Care LLC is hiring a dependable Ground Crew / Tree Service Laborer to support our tree removal, pruning, and rigging crews throughout the Seattle area.
This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who can work hard, follow direction, stay aware of jobsite hazards, and help keep the crew moving efficiently.
Tree service experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong experience in landscaping, construction, logging, equipment operation, or other physically demanding outdoor work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dragging, processing, and chipping brush
- Moving logs, rounds, and debris
- Assisting climbers and crew leads from the ground
- Running ropes and supporting basic rigging operations
- Operating chippers and other equipment when trained and authorized
- Using chainsaws and hand tools according to experience and training
- Setting up and maintaining safe work zones
- Protecting customer property during tree work
- Keeping tools, ropes, and equipment organized
- Assisting with cleanup and jobsite restoration
- Watching for hazards and communicating with the crew
- Working efficiently without sacrificing safety
Minimum Requirements
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance

Sound Tree Care LLC is hiring a dependable Truck Driver / Tree Service Driver to support our field crews throughout the Seattle and South Puget Sound area.
This position is for someone who can safely operate company trucks, transport equipment and materials, support tree crews in the field, and help keep jobs moving efficiently.
Tree care experience is helpful but not required. We are especially interested in candidates with commercial driving, construction, landscaping, hauling, equipment, or other field-service experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving company trucks to and from jobsites
- Transporting crews, tools, logs, brush, and equipment
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Securing loads properly before transport
- Maintaining awareness of vehicle weight, clearance, and jobsite access
- Delivering wood, chips, equipment, and materials when needed
- Backing trucks and trailers safely in tight residential areas
- Assisting with trailer hookup and equipment transport
- Keeping trucks clean, organized, and ready for work
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Following company driving and safety procedures
- Assisting the ground crew when driving duties are complete
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for assigned vehicles
